ATLAS SIG: Rethinking Urban Tourism Development in Post Pandemic Times 9.6.2022

Until the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the main trends in modern tourism has been the increase in urban tourism, both in absolute and relative terms. The huge number of tourists has caused many problems and conflicts, for example between different stakeholders. During the pandemic, the situation changed and the problem in different parts of the world changed into too few tourists. Therefore, the conference focuses on the future of suburban tourism and how to promote it in a sustainable way.
