Bhartia Business Practices: A Roadmap to Future Sustainability

 

Principal lecturers Keijo Varis and Kaisa Sorsa participated in the international conference “Bhartia Business Practices: a Roadmap to Future Sustainability” at Shyam Lal College in Delhi, India on 17-18 April 2023. Keijo Varis gave an invited guest presentation on “What is strategic thinking” and Kaisa Sorsa on the changing EU recycling legislation related to textile recycling. Shyam Lal College is one of the colleges of the University of Delhi.

On the same occasion, Keijo Varis visited the Finnish Embassy in Delhi, where he handed over to the Finnish Ambassador Ritva Koukku-Ronde the book Responsible Business Professionals: A Strategic Perspective of the Global Challenges, edited by Rabi Kari, Principal of Shyam Lal College, Professor Kusha Tiwari and Kaisa Sorsa. During the event, the India Institute of Directors (IOD) presented Keijo Varis with a lifetime membership to its organisation, which has 31,000 board members from Indian companies.
